Package pipeworks' construction methods are numerous, with the most common being four: bricklaying, wood lath and plaster method, light steel frame method, and aluminum sheet method. Let's first explore the latter two.
1、Bricklaying Method
Bricklaying is a technique used by masons before tiling begins. The process involves building up a red brick or lightweight block wall around the stand pipes. Once completed and allowed to dry slightly, it can be filled with cement mortar. After this has set, tiles can be applied for a smooth finish.
Important Considerations: When constructing the walls around stand pipes using bricks or blocks, ensure they fit tightly against the metal structure to avoid waste space. Allow sufficient time for drying before applying mortar for maximum strength and durability.
Advantages: This approach offers good soundproofing properties due to its thickness but occupies more space compared to other options.
2、Wood Lath & Plaster Method
This is one of the simplest techniques in use today; wooden laths are placed on top of each other vertically above ground level as support frames while water-resistant panels (cement sheets) are secured between them with nails or screws at regular intervals. A layer of lime-based render is then applied over these panels followed by an additional coat if desired before painting or wallpaper finishes apply over that layer after 24 hours have passed since application time began from when last touched by human hands during construction phase only within reach distance without any harm caused upon completion date set forth below:
Disadvantages include susceptibility to moisture damage causing warping/rotting issues among others such as cracking along joints where panels meet edges while also experiencing higher costs than traditional methods especially considering materials required like sand which cannot replace natural resources found elsewhere!
